Since its inception in 1987, president Tom Tubbs had one thought in mind about timesharing: There's a better way to do this! Having grown up in his father's boating business, he learned a valuable lesson: Give your customers more than they expect and always be accessible to them. His dad's 43 years in business saw the competition come and go.

By the same token, Tom has seen many timeshare companies come and go in the last 25 years. The industry has evolved greatly. The consumer now demands more and expects greater service, all at a lower cost. Tom saw his niche. He saw that the average resort spent 60% of it's gross revenue on promotion and marketing. He saw that the service after the sale was poor. He saw salespeople whose only interest was in their commission check. He saw that these resorts enjoyed very little repeat business and even less referrals. How did he see it? From first hand experience--he worked at a timeshare resort in management for a number of years. And what he saw troubled him. He saw people who had trouble trading their timeshares. He saw people paying top dollar for a timeshare because the marketing costs were so high. He saw salespeople lying about resale value. But he also saw one other thing. There were other people who absolutely loved their timeshare and could trade it for anywhere they pleased. Thus, there were "good" timeshares and "bad" timeshares.

Since that time Tom has been interviewed by radio personalities and has appeared on TV talk shows for his expertise in the time sharing field and his very different approach to marketing and servicing the customer.
